|Strengths=This mech packs a decent punch at close range. The Heavy Rocket Launcher can really knock an enemy's aim around, especially in FFP. The Light Machine Guns are back up in case it gets too hot to keep firing the rockets or you just need to sand that last little bit of the other guy's CT. This mech is fast too so it can close on its target quickly or back off if it's outmatched. Another good thing about being a in a Privateer is that people will regard you as a low threat target...
|Weaknesses=...because Privateers in general are low threats. The Heavy Rocket Launcher is difficult to aim at anything that's not immediately in front of it. The Rocket Launcher is also at a severe disadvantage against fast mechs, even at close range. The missile rack itself is fairly prominent and will usually be destroyed before the mech is. Still, in its intended role as a harasser, it can be fun to drive.
